Hella offers complex lighting systems as a complete system under the name "Light Design". The business units Light and Electronics work closely together for the flexible product construction kit.
The Hella Licht and Elektronik business units work together to jointly offer the "Light Design" product construction kit. The complete system should meet the individual requirements of car manufacturers. This means that all components from headlight modules through control units to sensors based on the modular principle can be put together. This also includes assistance in specifying interfaces between the individual components or developing the optimum light for the driver.
Car manufacturers can also use software solutions from Hella to further customize their products. With the "Advanced Lighting Simulation Architecture" (Alisia) lighting functions can be simulated on the PC and individually adapted. The software "Graphical Animation Interpreter" (Gain) is available to create the animation design. This ranges from wiping turn signals to individual choreographies of lighting systems to more complex animations for autonomous driving functions.
